This Privacy Policy explains what personal information BigStuff ("we", "us", "our") collects when you use https://bigstuff.ae, and how we use, share, and protect it.
We are based in the United Arab Emirates and follow the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021).
What we collect
When you shop with us, we may collect:
- Account details — name and email address if you create an account.
- Order details — items you purchased, shipping address, phone number, contact email.
- Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- Communications — emails you send us, newsletter signups.
- Basic technical data — IP address, browser type, and pages visited, in routine server logs. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

- To process and deliver your orders.
- To send order confirmations, shipping updates, and account emails.
- To respond when you contact us.
- To meet UAE tax, accounting, and consumer-protection requirements.
- To improve the shop and prevent fraud.
Who we share it with
We share the minimum data needed with these service providers:
- Stripe — securely processes your payment.
- Amazon Web Services (AWS SES) — sends our order and account emails on our behalf.
- Local couriers (currently Jeebly) — receive your name, address, and phone to deliver your order.
We do not sell your personal data and do not share it with advertisers.
Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies only:
- A session cookie so you stay signed in.
- A guest cart cookie so your cart persists between visits before you check out.
We do not run third-party advertising or analytics cookies on this site.
How long we keep your data
- Account data: while your account exists.
- Order data: at least 5 years, to meet UAE tax and accounting requirements.
- Email and server logs: up to 12 months.
Your rights
You can:
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete your account (we may need to keep order records for tax purposes).
- Unsubscribe from any non-essential emails.

Our shop is for adults purchasing toys and games. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
